Calder's notes
Strong short entry on the North side the North East spandrel particularly towards the East; moving position or travelling dot is located a shade farther South and not so large as in Position No. 57; in clear copies the end of a faint scratch is seen in the margin touching the outer frame line West of the 1st "A" of "Canada"; main position dot is slightly South and full.
Kershaw's notes
The short transfer is strongly evident TR and TL adjacent to the white oval frame. In wide margined copies the oblique tooling flaw from position 46 extends above the "CA" of "CANADA".
Morel's notes
Travelling dot right of face, diagonal line left of 1st "A" of Canada, weak transfer at upper right.

Stamps from printing orders 1 to 5A were perf. 11.75, stamps from printing orders 5B to 7 were perf. 12 x 11.75 and those from printing orders 8 to 12 were perf. 12.
