Calder's notes
Very faint short entry on the North side of the North East spandrel; small dash running North East and South West in the oval frame lines North West of the South point of the North East spandrel; main position dot is centre and full or nearly full towards East.
Kershaw's notes
There is a faint short transfer at the bottom of the TL spandrel and one in the TR spandrel. The ear dot is small and tangential to the inner line of the outer rim (see pg 149). There is an oblique tool mark inside the outer oval frame centre right adjacent to the "GE" of "POSTAGE".
Morel's notes
Travelling dot on ear, oval dot at 3 o.clock on guideline, weak transfer upperframe, 2 position specifics marks, accent in white oval frame at right of E of Postage and hairline outside frame, East of bottom right "7".

Stamps from printing orders 1 to 5A were perf. 11.75, stamps from printing orders 5B to 7 were perf. 12 x 11.75 and those from printing orders 8 to 12 were perf. 12.
